It can be difficult when enterring the hobby. Agencies and indies have to be comfortable with their clients. There are, however, indies who are very good at phone screening and would be easier to book with. Perhaps starting with FBSM like Avalon might be a good start if they agree to be your reference for future FS activities. Just my two cents.
